The Hunting Heritage Partnership says the "gateway" to securing America's hunting heritage is through today's state wildlife agencies. Idaho Fish and Game has been awarded $153,000 from the 2008 Hunting Heritage Partnerships Program of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearm industry's trade association.

ODNR SALUTES BOATING VOLUNTEERS FOR SERVICE, COMMITMENT

COLUMBUS, OH - Eleven Ohioans were honored in recent days for their commitment and hours of service to boating safety education in the state. The recognition came from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Watercraft as part of National Volunteer Week, April 27-May 3. Springfield resident Warren Shupp set a new record for volunteer service, earning a 7,000-hour volunteer pin.
