pMinnetonka, Minnestoa- The Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC) begins its East division on April 25 in Trenton, Michigan. This is the fourth time in the six year history of the MWC East that a tournament will be held at Elizabeth Park on the Detroit River. Tournament weigh-ins are free to attend and will run from 2:30pm - 4:30pm. Stop by and see your favorite team weigh-in. Anglers fish in two person teams and are allowed to weigh a limit of 5 fish per team per day. The team that weighs in the most pounds of fish over the two day event wins the tournament and the first place prize money of $12,650. This tournament is being filmed for television by North American Media Group to air on the VERSUS Network. Tournament coverage will air twice on VERSUS in June. Both airings will be at 10:30am (EST) with the first one on Tuesday, June 2nd and the second one on Thursday, June 4th./p

pLUKA, MISSISSIPPI- Joel Barber of Brandon, Mississippi, won the Walmart Bass Fishing League® Mississippi Division tournament on Pickwick Lake Saturday with a five-bass catch weighing 19 pounds. The victory earned Barber $4,981 and placed him one step closer to qualifying for the Kentucky/Barkley Lakes Regional Championship in Gilbertsville, Ky., Oct. 15-17, where he could ultimately win a new Ranger boat and a Chevy truck./p

pBRANSON, MISSOURI - Wes Endicott of Joplin, Missouri, won the Walmart Bass Fishing League® Ozark Division tournament on Table Rock Lake Saturday with a five-bass catch weighing 16 pounds, 7 ounces. The victory earned Endicott $4,463 and placed him one step closer to qualifying for the DeGray Lake Regional Championship in Arkadelphia, Ark., Oct. 22-24, where he could ultimately win a new Ranger boat and a Chevy truck./p

pCLEMSON, South Carolina - Jeff Coble of Manson, North Carolina, won the Walmart Bass Fishing League® Savannah River Division tournament on Lake Hartwell Saturday with a five-bass catch weighing 19 pounds, 8 ounces. The victory earned Coble $4,315 and placed him one step closer to qualifying for the Lake Norman Regional Championship in Lake Norman, N.C., Oct. 22-24, where he could ultimately win a new Ranger boat and a Chevy truck./p

pJameson Lake in Douglas County is clear enough this year to receive more rainbow trout in time for the April 25 lake fishing season opener.br /
Water conditions have improved this year in the 332-acre lake eight miles south of Mansfield. In recent years lake water quality was poor, due to a lack of spring run-off. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) had planned to stock fish there only if water quality conditions improved./p
